It feels like we've moved on from an era where having a moral compass and encouraging people to have a moral compass is the ideal.
We've entered instead an era where we seek out and encourage other people to have a commercial compass.
The lens we view things through, we see things through, is financial, transactional.
Even our political climate, our decision-making, our priorities in 2025 are firmly placed on financial grounds.
Grounds paved with the dollar over anything that is more principle-based, eternal-based, interpersonal-based.
I don’t think this is good for us.
